Thursday night is pretty much on your own. Most of the people will be hanging out in the bar. Others may go to King of Pizza.

I'll try to get over that way this weekend and make a list of what's available in the Cherry Hill area for that night (maybe with a corresponding map). If you guys need anything done at the Holiday Inn in person before the event, let me know. (I have no idea what would need to be done in person, but the offer is there.)

For what it's worth, the area around the Holiday Inn is quite easy for people to find places to eat. As I recall if you make a right or left out of the Holiday Inn parking lot the road has 2-3 strip malls filled with places to eat.
Bravo - if you want to go and get an actual list that is great but at the same time don't feel like you have to. Might be worth saving the gas/time and just looking up some places online or just let it be known that it's easy enough to find places within .5miles of the hotel.
Again, I am in no way discouraging the enthusiasm here just trying to save gas/time.
Thanks, Ian

I think their catering menu is for off-site services. Since folks will be rolling in at various times on Thursday, we're probably better off just forming our own small groups and heading out to wherever, or just buying our own meals at the restaurant. If some folks are gonna hang at the bar all afternoon/evening, they can take it upon themselves to make sure folks that show up solo can hook up with a group for dinner; maybe make the bar the meeting spot, then folks head out to dinner from there in groups. Just a suggestion; people are gonna do what they want when the time comes. My vote is to just put the options out there. Heck, I won't know where I'm eating dinner that night until it's on the plate in front of me.
I guess most of the other locations we'll figure out options on the scouting run.

The prices at the top are for full service, offisite catering. There are prices further down that are for platters.
I understand what you're saying but the way I see it, is if we can agree to the "Catering" we would have our own private room. The food would be there, but i'm sure that we could have it all staggered so that it's not all out at once since not everyone will be there at the same time. Based on the platter prices it looks like a full ribs/wings platter for 40 people would be $4.50/per person. Not only a cheap option but one that would allow us to have everyone in one place and in private. I am also going to talk to the manager about drink specials. Seeing as this is the first year, as far as I know, that they're doing this we'll need to get interest at the registration stage to determine if this will work.

That might work, once we start getting people registered and can tell when people plan on arriving.

My whole plan is to provide a place for us to chill, and get there when we can. It will be setup as a buffet and as more people come more food will be put out. A sit down place for all of us would not work simply because not everyone is going to get there at the same time. It will be a private room with two tvs and seats 30-40 comfortably.
And you're right, we won't know until we find out who's coming, when, and if they're interested in the buffet dinner.
I also just talked to the food/beverage manager and they said that they are willing to work with us of beer specials ;D

im going to suggest leaving thursday night up to each person. with the variety of times people will be arriving and the unknown #'s, its not worth the hassle.
friday/saturday/sunday are quite a different story.

It seems like a good idea, having a kind of reception room with an open buffet. But, IIRC, folks came in from ~3pm to 11pm last year, and that's a long time to be putting food out, even a little at a time. The drink specials at the bar would be a good hookup, though!
