Yes, everything is set. We got to talk with the owner/manager of Dunham's Bay - he set us up with the menu (carving station, pasta station, etc) and which rooms we'll be using for the dinner and the raffle. We checked out the Hilton in Burlington as well as the parking garage -that place may be too upscale for us unsavory types. We located Vermont SportsCar (we had two addresses), so we won't have to drag 45+ cars around an industrial park looking for it. We sorted out the stopping points along the way for fuel and snacks, and verified some travel times. And finally, we ate at Quaker Steak & Lube, where we learned why the food is so cheap; but we did get to see the parking lot, and let Todd know what part to reserve for us. Along the way, I also found some nice spots to get ahead of the group and set up the video camera to capture the drive-by.
All in all, it was very informative. I'm working on a handout that everyone will get in Cherry Hill, that will have the itinerary with all the stops that are planned; I'll see if Mike will let me post that here online when it's done, in case some folks want to look it over before the event.

Cool! Thanks for the pictures! I think they are nice to look at, they can give people some excitement and something to look forward to. They also gives everyone an idea about what the rooms are like and the bar.
I think all-in-all the scouting run was a sucess and has proven to be worth the while. I think it will prove even more worth it as the actual drive happens.
Big thank you to those who took the weekend to do the scouting run!

So quaker steak wasn't the best? I was looking forward to the food there, it sure looks good. No matter, I know I've had worse.

So quaker steak wasn't the best? Let's just say: Paisan didn't finish his meal.

That's the last stop, so everyone is on their own after that.

Oh come on. Now you're just trying to hurt my feelings.
Even if the food isn't that great they are truly going out of their way for this event, so I hope you can all look at it that way.

Not at all man. I thank you for all the work you're done setting up the foodies. Even thou the food isn't the best for some reason I like the idea of the place. They are going far and beyond in hooking us up so as long as I don't get food poisoning I'm happy.
I just hope they have more beer than just AB products. I'll eat sub par food but I like good beer.

Yeah, they are doing a lot so we can overlook the mediocre food. There is definitely value in their venue.
I basically rate it better than fast food but below the cheapest Applebees/Chilis type place.

I was trying to get that sentiment across. The food is so-so, but it's edible. The place is really catering to us, and as I said, they seem to have experience in handling car club events. It should be a great time. Just dont fall for the "gourmet pretzels."

Hopefully it was just a bad day and their wings had better be great or i'll be pissed!
