Ewww...you know I never did measure them. Let me look thru my e-mails and see if we ever had a final dimension. I think I gave a defined length and the height was just what it had to be.

Jeff this is what I had for dimensions when I did the layout, I believe it is accurate. I don't think this includes the black background which was an inch or so larger.
Lettering is 8" high x 68" for the top and 8" high x 60" for the bottom 2 lines.

Hey guys, ordered mine tonight. Anyone else ready? Pop me a PM and I'll get you in contact, remember I'm not involved other than making the plan, you deal directly with the vendor. IMPORTANT, pricing has gone up just a touch ($8) as the vendor has the same trouble everyone does in this economy. It's still a great deal considering the amount of reflective tape which isn't cheap. See my 1st post for new price.

Ordered my set yesterday afternoon with Sheri's help. She made a good suggestion regarding background color to show nicely on my black car.
She also offered if we need anything else give her a ring. Don't know where you found her Rob, but good move!

Oh yeah; I still have to measure my forester so I can order the right size. When I get it, I'll come up to AZP and install it there, rather than in the freezing cold of my driveway. Methinks it'll go on better with more hands helping (and a few drunk supervisors on-hand)

We should do an install day for them then. Mark, You, I and a keg of beer and Otis spunkmeyer cookies and they'll be perfect!

I recall when I helped Rob/Brent do the passenger side of his car it seemed to get pretty easy with 3 of us. I was not around for the driver side but if I recall correctly, while installing the passenger side, Rob/Brent noting a third set of hands making it easier.

This years should be easier because they have the alignment crosses (atleast the set Ted got did) so getting it right is just a matter of patience.
Tips: Start with a clean surface...applying some wax (on & off) over the area you plan to use is a good idea and will help with removal later. Use distilled water with a few drops of liquid dish detergent in a large spray bottle. Have a heat gun or hair dryer handy for smoothing out stuff. Use a good quality plastic squeegee. When cutting for the door opening...make the cut, open door, dry paint of excessive water, heat the part of vinyl to be folded over, and use squeegee to smooth it over and around the edge. This will make it stick really good.
Go slow...measure up where you want it on the car and mark it off with painters tape. When you peel the backing, start at one end, line it up with your tape marks and apply nice and slow. Work out all the bubbles as you go.

Dumb question, but how long does something like this last on the car? And should you take it through a car wash? Just thinking........

once applied and the water/soap mix had dried (couple days) they should be good for easily 5 years and no issue with car washes.

^^yup, the vinyl itself is rated for like 4-5 years outdoor exposure. I ran mine thru the scrubby car wash several times last year with no problems. It's a shame you can't peel it off and save it without distorting it.

Trust me, there's no way you're getting this off without messing it up...yoda or not. I almost pulled the door off last time and that was using a heat gun to help things along.
