I just called the Holiday Inn in Cherry Hill to reserve a room and as of 17:49 Nov 20th the only had 5 rooms left.
On a side note, they said that the AAA discounted price is $118 so if you can't get in the block but have Triple A than you're still good.

I tried calling the Holiday Inn at Cherry Hill to get 1 of the said rooms. Things were kind of a mess. When I was finished talking to 3 people I ended up leaving a message with someone.

Typical lack of communication. I get it all the time when I'm traveling with work. It's like hotel staffs don't pass things on to the next shift; I guess they are in such a hurry to get home at the end of their shift. We had the same problem at Famous Dave's BBQ one time: we ordered dinners for the entire shift (15 people) two days in advance, gave the order straight to a manager, but when we went to pick it up, they had no idea what we were talking about (but they found our list and had us wait another half hour for our order). They don't pay their employees much, and you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, it's the customers that suffer for it. If only there was another hotel right by SOA....

I just called and talked with April in Reservations, she knew exactly what I was talking about and I'm booked @ said rate of $117.
Also talked to Group Sales and confirmed there are 18 rooms still available. We're good to go....

Cool and we straightened out the Dunhams Bay situation as well. (Staff didn't know the cabins were available in the winter).

anyone have open seats in their cars? my girlfriend and I planned on attending this, but I simply cant pull enough money together to get a set of all seasons+mount and balance(bills, laid off from job..just about everything that could gone wrong, has gone wrong). We have no problem with back seats.
also bringing sleeping blankets, will kick in money for floor room/gas.
