If anyone has trouble booking, don't bother fighting with the reservation desk...just tell them you'll contact Group Sales to get it straightened out.
Send me an e-mail and I'll take care of getting in contact with HI and setting them straight.

It does - we had hopes that things were going to go smooth this year......I think right now we're 50/50 with 1 person that was smooth-sailing and another that had a hard time.
So I guess it's still to early to make the call as to whether it was/is a PITA.

Honestly I think it's just the staff at the counter. The Group Sales manager is on top of it and has been extremely easy to deal with.
NOTE: There is another block on their computer for a Coach's convention on the same date so be sure to tell them you're with the Subaru Charity 48hrs Event and not with the other, that seems to be confusing the people answering the phones.
